I just got my Samsung i450 today.
Not very fond of it already, since it didn't want to copy my contacts from my SIM.
And the memory card was screwed up from the begining.

Now i've been medling with it for 3 hours, trying to find how how to set Message tones?
I was able to set Voicecall ringtones, but not message tones :/
When i pressed ' Edit Profiles ' & go to the Message Ringtone thing,
the options were either " Download sounds " or " OFF ". Which made me rather mad.

I THINK you might need to convert them to Midi or MMF.
My U700 wont allow me to set sms tones to mp3 unless I upgrade the firmware (not bothered). But it does allow me to set when I convert them to MMF

I didn't have problems with my pass U700 :/

I tried converting to MMF format, but it wouldn't even allow me to open the file.
Is it because Symbian phones don't allow Message Tones? But i remembered my Nokia allowed me to :/
