How would one answer the question: Why do you feel you deserve this scholarship? (not a scholarship specifically for anything, just general)

uhh.. let's see. something like..

i have always highly valued education in my life b/c my parents did not have the same educational opportunities i did while growing up. In order to give my siblings and i these opportunities, my parents have made huge sacrifices/endured hardships to establish a new life here in america. unfortunately, blah blah blah i am limited not by my ability but by the financial demands of pursuing a higher education. something something i need money + i have older siblings in college so i need even more money than those other applicants. lol.
