So I have SBC Yahoo DSL as my net provider. The other night it was working fine and all of a sudden the status changed to unplug. I am more than positive that all cables are connected CORRECTLY cause nobody touched the wires (and like I said, it was FINE before that). It says "Local Area Connection 2 - a network cable is unplugged". My wireless isn't working, but my internet is?!








& I'm not sure why I have so many of these connections -- that's how my brother set it up. oO;;

ERr im confused, is the screen shot connected to the internet with a wired connection? Because I don't see any entries in the list for wireless connections.

The easiest and fastest thing to try is to just turn everything off. Turn off your computer... unplug your modem and router... wait a minute then power the modem up and turn the PC back on.

Otherwise... its possible you're having sync issues.

The other one, "Local area connection 2" is probably just a extra connection. Many computers have more than one network so its common for the other to be disconnected.

are your wireless phone also running at the same fequency? it happens if you do. now they sell 5.8ghz phones so it wont mess with your wifi.
