So I have been admitted to UCI fall 08. Most likey I will attend there because I live in SoCal and my other choice is UC Davis (NorCal ...very far). I really don't want to room with anyone from my high school because I would like to break out of that. Around 30 - 50 students from my school do go to UCI every year and even more at UCR and UCLA and UCSD. Just at Explore UCI today, I bumped into around 10 students from my hs and 4 that graduated from my hs and now attending there in a span of a couple of hours.
I don't mind having a random roommate but imagine one I met thru soompi! I trust people here and it's random. I'm a nice person! If anyone is interested please let me know PM me or reply here or something.

Oh my gosh this is a really good idea actually! Why didn't I think of this?! Because seriously, I do want a random roommate, but if I knew it was someone who would understand my Korean obsession I'd be so much more relaxed. xD I'm afraid my roommate would think I'm a weirdo for being white and loving everything Korean...
But then anyone who chose to room together would have to request the same housing and theme and stuff and agree on it... (like I've already got mine picked out, hah) Maybe if even more people like this kind of idea UCI people should just post what housing/theme they want and then if they agree they can PM each other. Or like post in the UCI 2012 thread since it's all freshman. Haha well now I'm posting too much because I got excited. Anyway, good idea!
