As a geology major are you focusing environmental or engineering geology? If you are worried about finding work in your related field talk to one of your professors and see if he/she knows about possible internships. It's best to start looking once you reach junior or senior status. Additionally you could also look to the American Geological Institute (AGI) is you are in the states.

Hey all!
I came in wanting to major in Secondary Education focusing on English.
But now, I don't know what I want to do.
I'm stuck between--Teaching, English, International Studies, and Journalism.
^ Haw, My parents did the same thing and now I'm confused
Erm, I get really offended by certain remarks like the ones below.
1. "Your major is English? But you are Asian!"
2. "English?.."
"Yes. I love literature"
"Isn't it hard (or easy)?"
"I like to study it though (or anyone can write an essay, but writing a good one isn't easy)"
"But isn't it really boring?"
"If you like someone, you won't find it boring"
^^ Hahaha, I get the same thing all the time. >_>
call me naive but i really want to try to make a difference in the world. my dream job would be a diplomat for my country (canada), a UN ambassador, or work for an NGO or IGO.
WOW! YOU GO GIRL! I want to do the same thing. I mean, I really want to make a difference in the world. I like international Studies and political stuff really interests me as well
In U.S.- fair game
In Korea- competitive!!
Hey! This is exactly what I was hoping to do! I didn't know you could minor in TESL? You're SO LUCKY! Our school doesn't do that, we have to double major >_>. Is it REALLY competitive in Korea? --Damn, I really wanted to teach there after I graduated >_>
