March 24th 2008 Lifting of the Ban

As all of you have been waiting.

The ban on the information has been lifted, so we are announcing.

I have decided to produce a woman named Kanon Wakeshima who is a cello/vocalist.

She is to debut in May from Song Defstar Records.

I do the composition, programming, and arrangement. She writes the lyrics.

She has been studying classical music since she was young and her cello play is professional.

The first single �still doll� is a 3beat whisper voice type, medium slow mysterious number.

It has a different taste compared to Moi dix Mois but my style is apparent.

Ambient, French and electronica I would say.

This producing act is a new challenge for me.

I'm pretty sure that she will release a second single when the second season of the anime Vampire Knight: Guilty airs. Her new song, 砂のお城 (Suna no Oshiro), will be used for the ending theme again You can listen to it here in the trailer for VK. It sounds quite nice.

Still Doll & Kuroi Torikago were great songs! I love the gothic touch that Mana brought to it. The lyrics are beautiful too!

Kanon Wakeshima will release her second single, Suna no oshiro, on November 12th. The title track will be used as the ending theme for the "Vampire Knight Guilty" anime series. Two versions of the single will be available, the limited edition including five tracks and the regular edition only including three.
