Honestly, how do you guys deal with stereotypical & ignorant people?

In the Benjamin Cardozo High School, Bayside thread (networks):

i don't goto school there,
but in new york,
those kids never wear preppy clothing..
they wear like lose jeans that are like up to their ass only..
they wear 'cool' sneakers.. as in Nike Dunk's, Jordan, and etc.
90% those kids will wear those kind of cloths...
other hispanic, black, dominacan, and etc, will definately wear those gangster cloths...
even asian wear those!!!
new york is full of wanna-bes... dry.gif

then consider me as 'ignorant' then...
i like to call it 'gangster clothing' because they look like it..
and, there is nothing wrong with asian wearing cloths like that,
did i even say there is a problem? LOL, i didn't...

okay correct me if i'm wrong .. but when you said ny is full of wanna-bes, weren't you referring to the asians who wear "GANGSTER" clothes (as you said) as wanna-bes?

i said NEW YORK, meaning 'the whole NYC' ...

In NEW YORK .. that proves a lot? oh one of my asian boys from NYC wears longgg baggy jeans, oversized shirts, crooked hats at times ... but he talks and acts like a normal human being. that still makes him a "WANNA-BE" right? and by wanna-be I mean "black", "gangster" or whatever, according to k-freak ..... I just had to address this.

This thread is not made to bash the member .. I'm just pointing out some examples of stereotypes/ignorance that I've came across here (It's ok not everyone here might agree with me on this) .. but seriously, since when was there a thing called "GANGSTER CLOTHES" .. there's just no such thing. I mean .. most of you could agree that you can't judge people if they're wanna-bes or not by the way they dress right? My asian friend used to dress like 50 Cent, and never talked or acted like a hardcore gangster or thug .. so in all seriousness, what do you guys think of this kind of stereotype/ignorance?

I think there's no reason to single out a member's free opinion by creating a thread about it.

Just agree to disagree.
NEWSFLASH: I HAVEN'T BEEN A MODERATOR FOR LIKE 2-3 YEARS, SO STOP MESSAGING ME ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS.
