Hi everybody smile.gif

I figured I'd share my latest addition to the family. Sorry the pics aren't top notch (waiting on a new camera so the point and shoot will have to work for now, haha.)

Long story short, had a '99 Camaro z28. Had it for 2 years or so, wanted to mod it badly. They are little expensive to mod, and it takes a bit to get where I wanted to be. I've always been around fast cars and toys (dirtbikes and such as well) so I tend to get bored easily. Plus I wanted a manual car. I sold the Z28, but bought a 2002 Z06 right before i did; but I came to like the 2003/04 Cobras a lot as they come supercharged and something as simple as a pulley change gives you massive power gains. I had wanted to go forced induction on the camaro but wow what an expensive job. So I started looking at Cobras and decided that was where I belonged (at least now). My dad bought my Z06 off me so we're lucky enough to have the best of both worlds.

It has some mods, mostly set up for road racing although it was not.
Pulley, exhaust, full intake, springs, and some other things as well as a tune.
it's Sonic Blue, my 1st color choice
Bought with 6227 miles on it, talk about a DEAL.

Ok ok on to the pics smile.gif

To follow the story, here is the z28:

The two z's ( don't have great pics of the z06 alone):

AND THE COBRA!!!!:

Thats the best I have for now. The wheels look amazing in person. The pic in my sig is what the seller had shown me and I was like, EW those are gonna have to go! But in person they are gorgeous. Those pics of the car decent of them.

That's all, just wanted to share smile.gif Thanks so much for looking! Sorry if the pics are huge too.

Wow all this American Muscle.

My Miata would get punked by any of your cars on that lot.

How do you afford a Z06??? Very interesting~

wouldn't you have more fun with the z06? (straightline + roadracing)

also the g can already run mid 13s stock and the hks intakes adds an estimated 10 extra hp and the exhausts add like 8 so yeah it should shove off about 1.5 to 2 sec off my times

I'm guess all the cars were bought used, but its obvious they're loaded or at the very least well off. Just look at the garage and private driveway they got there blink.gif

You finally got the cobra! Congrats! Beautiful color as well smile.gif

How much is that bad boy putting to the ground? Pulley + Tune alone (from what I've heard) can get very respectable results!

6227 miles? That must have been quite a pretty penny..as higher mileage terminators (30k+) still go for over 25 grand.

It's not a GTO but...the cobra ain't bad wink.gif

Thanks for the replies! SorryI am answering so late, haven't been on here in a bit!

No numbers...yet. I don't know about tracking it, but maybe a dyno run one day, we shall see. I don't really want to compare it to my bf's cobra which is putting down 5--something something rwhp bc obviously things are not all the same.

It is not the KB,they come stock with the Eaton SC.

As for liking the z06 better..to each their own. The Cobra is more raw muscle car type of thing...and more like a kid car to me...which is what I want right now. It's hard to explain but it's nice to have both sides of the scale in the same garage.

As for how I afford my cars...please don't go thinking my parents buy my stuff. We aren't loaded, we live in a nice area and my parents do ok. As for myself, I live with them, work a TON for one thing and save save save. I guess I can't really say much but I lucked out.

Cars aren't selling right now, so I made out alright with picking this up smile.gif

Thanks for the comments again!

Very naice! Even though most hardcore Chevy guys laugh at the thought of owning a Stang, the Terminator is definetely an exception. I'd get one if they weren't so expensive... seems like they hold their value damn well, but my Asian ass will soon be sitting in an Fbody within the next month or two! (but even those seem to hold their value pretty well... bad for me.)

my friend recently sold his 03 Cobra it had 9 lb pulley I believe and cat-less exhaust. His car can go on the straight-away, but can't really turn unless he's out of control (no, I did not take that out of a FnF movie).

Nice rides.. not a fan of domestics but yah the cobra is pretty fast.

**Fun story that happened today, which is the sole reason I dont like mustangs (no offense to op though). So I was cruising at 40 mph at a 35mph zone and this cobra pulls up to my side and starts to rev. I ignore him cuz im driving a civic (omg speed right there), and he then mugs me and zooms past me and cuts me off. Why are stang drivers such douches? Dno.. but I dont street race, esp not with a baby civic (:

Unfortunately this happens quite often. I just happened to share one incident.

hmmm i understand ur story and i think it's because mustang is one of the cars that represents the AMERICAN MUSCLE CARS (POWER)..however, I'm more fan of Chevy since my first sport car that i've ever ridden on was 72' camaro, but this doesn't mean that i don't like mustang because i love my friend's mustang that he built from scratch. Corvette is sucha nice car smile.gif

Wait, hold on. Use your head a little more and think about it... wouldn't it make more sense to dislike the drivers instead of the cars themselves? And even that would be a huge generalization; every car group has its fair share of douchebags.

That is true. I am sorry for generalizing then. I just expressed my opinions based on personal experience.
