So I just my first part time job, being paid minimum wage, and I was just wondering what are good beaters.
first thing that comes to mind is a corolla or civic. but I just wanted to know the other alternatives. Thanks
and also I did want an 98-01 integra, but even I think that is too expensive for my budget. Should I wait and save or should I get myself a beater and save for a better car?

I say get a Miata, very inexpensive, you can find one for under 2.5k, insure it for $50 bucks a month (liability). Gets greaaaaat gas milage, just need to do do a timing belt change, change all fluids, spark plugs, filters, and then you're good go!
Get some new tires and a new top and you got yourself a car you can drive for the next 5-6 years all for under 4k!
4k vs the 6k-8k you would spend on an integra/accord/civic etc.
