Alright, so let me say this right here. This is by no means a thread to start discussing the whole controversy behind China's hosting of it, tibet, or anything like that. This is just to inform you of what Nike is putting out for the olympics. We're talking huge advancements in technology, both for the upper and midsole of the shoes. More specifically Flywire Technology and Lunarlite foam.

So, I'm sure some of you may know what Nike is doing, but im willing to bet that a majority don't. They're revealing two new technologies for the olympics, to help athletes compete better. While some of the shoes are probably never gonna see the light of day at the commercial end, all the innovations will see the mass market in some way shape or form.

This site lists a majority of the shoes that are coming out with an indepth breakdown of it. Really amazing, breakthrough technology. I reccomend you checking out the Tae Kwon Do shoe, the gymnastic shoe, the lunar racer, lunar trainer, the Air Zoom Hyperdunk and the Air Zoom Court Luna for starters. Its a great site, and really informative.

Nike is really going all out for the olympics, and you can see the dedication to making sport better. Hope you all enjoy this and Mods if this is the wrong section, please move it. I didn't know where to put it because its sports, yes. But not about any particular sport. It also falls under Tech, but its not computer related, and its somewhat about shoes; but its not fashion.
