I already sold it to a junk yard but I was curious how much would a totaled toyota camry 1994 model would be sold for. I know alot of people need parts for this car because alot of people still have it.

I'm only asking because the junkyard guy was totalling it and another guy came up and asked me if I wanted to sell it to him... and I heard it from another person before that too (when it was running though)

Just curious how much a totalled car would fetch. I know some people dont get any cash so I'm happy with what I got... I had to depart from my baby T.T

THis is what the car looked like.. except that door/frame damage everything (like the engine) was fine.

Maybe try get a quote from Kelly Bluebook?
You probably can get more $$ if you sell the parts that are still in good condition on eBay.
when my previous car was declared totaled, my hubby was planning to keep the car and sell the car parts on eBay, but we couldn't do it because we didn't have a garage to keep the car.

Not much, because a junk yard person knows his stuff just like the insurance people... he knows that

1. sitting on your driveway its useless to you

2. you dont have the network or connections to sell parts like they do

Ive seen junkyard buy totaled lexus IS 350, a fully upgraded one with all the goodies priced at 45k brand new, with only 8k miles on it... for less than 10k

thanks for the replies biggrin.gif

I got 200 for it which wasn't too bad since the car was now 14 years old! (94 toyota o.O! they still look good though)

I was just asking since the guy walking by wanted to see if I would sell it to him.. and I wascurious how much he would've offered me.

200 isn't too bad though, I guess I can now by my CHI hair straightener with it ^^;;; (already done it;; )
