The Apple Diet

so basically, you eat nothing but apples for a whlie.
There are different variations to this diet though.
So, i was wondering if anyone had ever tried it before?
and DOES IT WORK?

yeah. you'll be losing out on so many of the daily nutrients you need if you're just eating apples for breakfast, lunch, and dinner =/. you won't even get the necessary amount of calories per day for females with that diet. single food diets are really not recommended, they're just fads just like the grapefruit one.

So apples to replace all ur meals, do u mean 3 apples a day?
Because that's like 240kcal a day...very very unhealthy and extremely hard to stick to =S

i love apples so i tried it
i lost ALOT of weight but i only
did it for 5 days? the days i went
to school but after i stopped
i gained some of it back

once you get off of it, the weight comes back
my friend went on that diet for a week, she did lose hella weight, we tried telling her it's not gonna work, low and behold after another week or two eating normally again, she gained it back. she was depressed.

I try my best to eat half medium apple per meal o.o;;;
my mom told me about eh apple diet, but its more of a fast. She said its healthy but you can only do it for a while

Your body needs nutrients, and only eating apples isn't going to provide your body the nutrients it needs. You could even end up sick if you're not careful. I don't understand why people have to go through such drastic methods to lose weight. Going on a diet shouldn't be about depriving yourself with food, but more of providing your body of what it really needs, and trying to cut out what it doesn't need.
