1) Wrong section.

2) What are you eating?

If you exercise off 1000 calories and you eat food equaling 2000 calories...then yea you won't lose weight.

3) You're 96 lbs and want to be even slimmer/less weight @ 90? Uh..."I'm not as fat, but I want to have a slimmer body" What's up with that? How tall are you? You're nowhere near fat. Actually you might be underweight which could be bad also.

^like she said wrong section, and check your BMI, 90 pounds seems tiny

And if you want to get flat abs I think it's better to exercise using more ab targeting moves (like crunches). And are you working out until you sweat? 15 min might not be enough...

15minute of running.. no wonder no results =="
warm up for at least couple minutes + at least 25minute of cardio that brings ur HR into aorund 70% of ur max for ur age = result ..

if you want to tone by running, you'll need to run three miles a day about four or five times a week.

for abs specifically, i suggest you do about fifty crunches every day. i have a lot of friends on the track team, and a particular one did just that and got nice results in two months.

you're just going to need to put in a little more effort. fifteen minutes and the same diet as before isn't going to cut it.

Quit staring at the numbers and look for differences in the mirror.
You not only need to exercise, you need to eat right and have a healthy diet.
Count calories and read nutritional facts.
Also, your running needs to be intensive. Push yourself.

running in the morning would be better

I started running on the treadmill a few months ago and I noticed that my body looks a lot leaner. I also do some weights to help tone. I usually run for 10-15 min on high speed or 30 min at a more relaxed speed (I'm still trying to get my endurance up). As aaandy said, you should definitely try to push yourself. But I think it'll take some time before you get the results you want. You'll also have to think about eating healthier and doing other strength training exercises.

instead of creating a new topic of the same thread in a different forum, pm a mod to move your thread

i merged the two for now
Alice asked the Cheshire Cat `Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?'
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don't much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said the Cat.

15 minutes seems too little of a time to get the effect you want.
when i run on the treadmill, i try to do 60 minutes. and i DO get results. but, mind you, this is WHEN i run. lol

you're 96 pounds and you still want to lose weight?? o_O makes me feel like a fatty here...

the first 30 minutes or so on the treadmill is actually only breaking down the carbs in your body. you need to do at least 30 minutes before your body starts burning the fat. it also depends how intense your workout is too. don't really count the time you've jogged, but count the distance. try running 2-3 miles every other day and you should see results in a few weeks or so.

The problem is that you run before you go to sleep. So basically, while running your increasing your metabolism, but by going to sleep your metabolism drastically drops canceling out the affects of running. If you want to see better results you should run in the mornings, so your metabolism will be higher throughout the day. This way you will burn more calories overall.

Also, since you don't run for that long of a time you should try doing some high intensity interval training. You'll get better results in the short amount of time you run.

Erm.. you can't "tone" your tummy by running. You actually are just needing to lose the fat that's covering your abs.

For ultimate results losing fat, do High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) cardio. This means every time you hit that elliptical or treadmill, SPRINT AS FAST AS YOU CAN for 60 seconds, then jog for 40, then SPRINT for 60 and keep doing this. You should be pouring sweat and feel like you're gonna die. smile.gif

Lift weights on the days you don't do cardio. Building muscle helps to burn more calories when you are rested. Personally, I don't like cardio but from lifting with a very specific workout, I've lost a lot of body fat in the past 2 months.

Also, 96lbs. is a little low... how tall are you? You sound like you might have a case of "skinnyfat" where your weight is fine, but you still look flabby. Lifting weights will help that, too.

Hope this info helps. smile.gif
