so yesterday i was at a private track day at buttonwillow, there was about 15 cars. one of the guys who was there used to be a pro driver and drove porsche race cars, his father also has bought just about every model of porsche and has bought many porsche race cars. so needless to say they are on good standings with porsche. so he has 1 of 2 porsche 997 gt2's in california, possibly 1 of 2 in the country. he gave me a ride about buttonwillow #13 CW, and holy crap that car is amazing. the car weighs about 3200lbs and has 530hp, it rides on pilot sport cup tires (r-comps) with me in the car he did a 1:59.xxx. what impressed me most wasnt the power (i've been in and have driven more powerful cars) but it was the braking. it was like the hand of god came down and stopped the car. i have never been in a car that stopped so hard. also the lateral grip was amazing, we went around riverside soooo fast. it really is amazing what a professional driver can make a car do. having the rear end slide at over 100mph is a great feeling. at the moment im at my friends house in bakersfield because im going back to buttonwillow on sat, then im going to an auto x on sunday. so ill post pics and a short vid probably on sunday night. pics wont be great and the vid is really short because i didnt have my camera, i had to use my cell phone.

also the g can already run mid 13s stock and the hks intakes adds an estimated 10 extra hp and the exhausts add like 8 so yeah it should shove off about 1.5 to 2 sec off my times
