The Diet Where you can have one treat a day?

I'm going on a diet, but I really can't seem to deprive myself of my Starbucks coffee or bag of chips. That's like torture!

Is it okay to treat myself to one caramel macchiato or something everyday - and still lose weight?! I mean an extra 300 calories a day won't add up THAT much, will it?

sad.gif sadly it does. about 300 calories a day = 2,100 calories a week. one pound is 3,500 calories sad.gif

300 calories is a lot. i mean thats 1/4-1/3 of your daily calorie intake if you follow a 1000-12000 cal/day diet. it would take at least a good 30mins of fairly intense exercise to sweat that off. if you cant quit it cold turkey then try to have one only every other day, then have one every 2 days until you can quit.

Get Starbuck once a week and instead the fatty drink, get the Skinny Mocha Iced Expresso. Those only have 160 cal for a grande I believe. it's a lot. I get it once every 2 weeks. and yup I'm on diet. you can ask for caramel or whipcream. they have calorie but not much.

I think you should cut down the macchiato to like... 1-3 times a week and exercise more. Coffee everyday is seriously not good, and all that caramel, too.

yeah you should try to cut it down 1-3 times a week to the point that you can't eat it anymore. Usually with me, if i have to give up ice cream i will do it (haven't eaten ice cream for 3 years XD).

but yeah u can try to eat it but not everyday..o.o;;

on a diet, you are not allowed to cheat anymore than once a week. sad.gif

I agree think you should limit yourself to one or two a week. its ok to treat yourself once in a while, cos if you start getting cravings for something it might turn into binging (well for me it happens) but if you want more starbucks, then make it up, by exercising it off!!

Shoot, don't quit Starbucks just for the sake of your diet.
Quit Starbucks for the sake of your bank account.
In the end you'll slowly feel thinner in the pants but fatter in the wallet.
