prove it
going from an audi r8 to a 3 series convertible is a big jump. why did he buy a 3 series if he could afford an r8?

because he doesn't want to wait 2-4 years for a car. and to be on the waitlist, they require a 5 grand deposit. the 335i is cheap for the speed you get. you also can custom order and get it within two months. he and his business partner both got one for fun.
why the hell are we discussing what my bf can or cannot buy? I made this topic to see what kind of fast cars people like -__-+

even though, i know doctors and such that make 500k+ a year...
they still rather the 3-series for looks and other reasons over the 5-series and 7-series or some porsche and such...

people started discussing what your boyfriend can and cannot buy because that seems to have beenalib the main point of your post. even when I read it i felt like the topic title of "need for speed, let's discuss fast cars" was just excuse for you to show off what your boyfriend could afford.
that aside, i like his taste in cars. im looking forward to a 335i coupe myself, hopefully. not too much for the speed though, since i've gotten enough points on my license for that alone.

why is everything you type in bold?
