Well im talking about VODs specifically. Like live action replays of both teams in a tournament. I already know WCG, anything else?

*EDIT*

Hah, nvm. Team Liquid has amazing VODs on their tracker site.

If so, what do you like about it? How is it fun to you? What makes you keep coming back for more?

.............................
I read all the hype and decide to download it and Broodwars. So far I'm three levels away from finishing the first game and nothing special so far. It seems incredibly easy to play and all the missions are the same except the ones where you don't need to manage a base and the computer gets a bit harder during the later protoss levels. The replays are kinda boring to watch and I watched some of the best go at it: boxer, Nada, forU, etc. Does it get better in broodwars? I don't have a CD-key so how much better can the game get against a human player?

dark templars are only minor problems. any gosu knows to have moving observer/overlord/vessel =p

what alot of tournment players don't use is the corsair's ability where ground units can't attack in the area.
its cheap on mana, corsairs are cheap, its cheap to upgrade, I just don't understand!?

I remember watching a game in korea of zerg/vs/zerg and they were both doing the exact same thing nearly the whole game. ling -> mutal +scourge. game ended before anything else came out lol

You won't understand the greatness unless your at least a decent player. It's sort of on a grading scale, the more competitive you get the greater it is. Although alot of the novelty has worn off, it is still a good game. It was at it's greatest when strategies were still relativly new and people hadn't fallen into the cookie cutter rythm you see now. I use to play fairly competitivly and won somewhere around $10k in prizes including trips to NYC and Everland in Korea.

Personally I quit 5 or more years ago, quiting soon after my last tournament in 2000. Was fun while it lasted smile.gif

that was probably the best game of all time next to Diablo 2 series.

an scv can kill a marine, a zealot can kill 3 zerglings.
24 corsairs kill 24 mutalisks in about 5 seconds.
base corsairs do 0 dmg to fully upgraded battlecruisers.
sunken colony's suck.

that's some stuff i remember about good ol brood wars lol

3 words. Mass Zergling Drop. LOL load them up into overlords, throw a couple air units in to bait. Then drop them. 200 zerglings running everywhere is pretty funny.
Hi there =).
