...Just have a Krock section or something? I mean they are a separate field from Kpop, right? Pushing aside pop rock, whatnot rock, come on. The bands are different from the pop groups.

Sort of like this, see:
korean music>
_kpop>
_girlgroups
_boybands
_pop groups (mixed)
_solo acts (pop)
_hip hop/ R&B
_electronica
_krock>
_underground
_indie
_popular
_metal
_alternative
_solo acts (rock)
Of course, some people are going to crossover obviously. But those categories are pretty basic. If you don't agree, it's ok, just delete this post when you've made up your mind.
It's just, honestly, I get lost out there, haha!

but some hiphop and r&b as well as electronica are considered underground.
i know where you're coming from, but the underground section does not merely consist of krock bands only. if they were to split up the music section like that, it'd be very difficult to keep up with news and other assorted updates for other groups that are not mainstream....we'd have to go back 100 pages every day to find what we're looking for, if you know what i'm saying ^^.

Yeah, I hear you. It's just, it seems like a mess out there and there's a better way to categorize everyone. See, Hip Hop could be a category all its own too, and have its own underground as a subdivision. It's easier for everyone to go to the same area where everyone has the same taste, rather than seeing and ignoring someone they don't care for and letting that thread slide.
Never mind, I just have to deal with my situation, argh!!!!!!!!!! The delete button please!

You could have PMed me instead of creating this topic.
I agree with angelfightrJ. K-underground is not limited to Krock only. It just happens that most of the discussions are surrounding krock bands. What you are suggesting we can only achieve it opening various sub-forums. We can't do that unless we have enough demands for it. I believe the official threads can group fans of common interest together now.
