2). mpg? whats the usual? i've been seeing about 50mpg but maybe that's not good? good? no? haha.
3). avg speed of a scooter. and what's the max it can go.
4). could u ride them on the highway or just on local roads?
5). do u need a special license?
6). do u need scooter insurance?
7). what's a good price for it? im a college student and out of yamaha and honda, yamaha was wayyy cheaper. tongue.gif
8). would u buy one?
9). what about gas ones? can't find ANY info on it. it goes to like mopeds on google sad.gif

^I agree. Vespas are prolly the best scooters.

2) 50-60 avg on motorcycles. scooters are prolly the same.
3) around 40mph
4) ^see above speed. I doubt you can go on freeways...
5)As for a license, you'll need to get a motorcycle/scooter endorsement (if you get a motor that is 50cc or more which most gas powered ones are).
The simplest way to get one is by completing a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course (they are like $90-100).
6) yes but it is way cheaper
7) 2-3000 is the most I would pay.
8)If I lived in a city that didn't rain all the time, I would buy one.
9)??? the ones you linked are gas ones.

Seriously... I wouldn't spend 8-9000 on a scooter.
Its really not worth it unless you have a ton of money to blow. I'd get a used vespa.
I think you can get one for 2000 used 4000 new. Some are more expensive.

But, I'm not an expert on them by any means.
I kinda wanted one to screw around with about two years ago but have lost interest.
