Did you pass the first time you took your permit test?
If not, how many times did you have to take it until you passed?
and how did your parent's react? Were they angry with you or treat you like you were incapable or anything?

haha surprisingly i passed the first time. it was pretty difficult even though i spent alot of effort into studying the book.
i barely made it. got like an 83% (passing score was 80%)

Its not big deal if you fail your first time, just take it as another experience, memorize what you didn't get and take it again the next day.

14 times. Don't feel bad at all. I still can't drive and I turn 19 in three months. My parents are just exasperated because they have to drive me everywhere.

I failed it the 1st time. Everyone told me not to study since it was so easy, so
I didn't & failed ... I cried too & wasn't allowed to take it until months later (1st time was
in Dec ... I finally got it the 2nd try in August!!) I read the manual over 2 times before I
took the test again -- you really need to. Oh & yeah, my dad wasn't mad at all but my mom was
kind of irritated .. she's the one that made me wait months and months.

As for the road test, passed it the 1st try =)! I got my license 2 months after my 18th
birthday ... I actually think getting it at 18 is safer & better, since 16 y/o's can't drive for
mini cooper ... no offense.

at all. but i did pass my license test on my first try.

bahhhh the permit test was a JOKE seriously....i took it at the dmv place...so freaking easy i only missed like one........

............................ok well maybe it was easy cuz i studied a lot......lol...but ya make sure u deff know all that shiznit in the drivers handbook cuz there r some tricky q's...especially the ones about those freakin school buses....and dont over analyze stuff !!!

...now its about time 4 me 2 pass the test 4 my license....im scurrredddddd.......

i passed the first time, and got only one or two wrong i think.
i thought it was really easy. a lot of questions were just common sense.
if you learned the stuff really well in class, you'll do fine.
my driver's ed teacher sucked, so i really took the time to study the handbook.
but almost everyone i know found it difficult the first time, so it's completely normal.

I passed the first time, but I'm an awful driver. I didn;t really, know the answer to any question, but I got my hands on tons of my friends' permit tests and memorized the answers, and passed w/ a 100%! Honestly, the key is just memorizing the answers by looking at old tests.

took me three times...for permit...and then three times for driving...
sucks hahah. but then with the expensive gas prices these days...driving isn't even worth it because i don't really wanna go anywhere besides school and grocery shopping

I passed the first time. The test questions and answers (which are multiple choice) are exactly the same from the manual. It's more memorization. Just know which letters are the right answers for which question.

most of it is common sense anyways

I missed 7 the first time and passed (the maximum you can miss is 8) you just need to memorize the answers and you're good to go.

I was SOOOOOO nervous
I read over the book like 3 times.
I was like shaking.
And I did the computer testings and for one of the questions, it turned into some other lanuage.
I was like WELTSLGNSLDJGLSJ!!!?!?!?!?!
Then I realized there was a translate button...
When the screen said "Congratulations, you have finished the test"
I was like YES !
When the lady said I passed, I was so relieved...I would hate to fail xD

i almost didnt but luckily my friends told me to read over the laws section in the book 1st and it ended up with the test basically just asking me questions about laws and violations xD

all my friends claimed it was so easy...but I think I overthink the questions, and they aren't as difficult as they seem to be, lol. I failed the first time, but the second time, I got the max number wrong, haha
