i just did pop culture in my japanese class! lol. apparently hello kitty does not have a mouth in order to remain emotionless. so you can interpret how hello kitty is feeling. for example if you feel happy, hello kitty looks happy too. if you're sad then hello kitty looks sad too. i learned this from my japanese teacher! i'm sure you already know that but incase you don't then i hope that helped.
