My New Ride... 2008 Silverado LTZ 4X4

I know most of you guys are not into trucks but I wanted to share anyway...
I just got a new job and needed a new vehicle so I bought it 3 days ago.
I still can't believe it is really mine.

Here are some pics. They aren't very good because I suck at taking pics and took them in the dark.






The interior is actually black leather but it looks gray. Oh well...

The remote start and all the goodies amaze me.
But I laughed hysterically when I found out that my truck has a phone number and it emails me tire pressures, oil, fuel, etc.
What a waste of resources but I kind of think it is cool.

Anyway, just thought I'd introduce something different to a forum dominated mainly by more sporty cars...
Now I just need to save up for a boat.

coooool. i want the new tundra, i have an 04 silverado as well :]

i'm pretty tired of speedbumps, the truck goes over it with ease

that is a hawt truck! i want one! it would be nice to carry my extra tires/tow my car with a truck like that to the next event, but im sure the gas would hurt the wallet. haha.

kind of fancy for a truck. leather, phone number, emails, wood-grain dash...far from what trucks use to be.

Great lookin truck. Just curious on why you didn't opt for the 20" 5 spoke wheels, especially when you got the LTZ trim?

Thanks everyone! Yeah, trucks are definitely not what they used to be.

I didn't really like the factory 20s for some reason...
I am definitely going bed liner and rim shopping when I get my next bonus. Any recommendations?

Yeah I was considering the Tundra too. They are NICE.
But I went with this one and I'm pretty satisfied. smile.gif

Yes I did... obviously nobody is buying trucks these days.
Plus I avoided sales tax (would have been around $3000) because I have an Oregon address! tongue.gif

Not too sure on rims, but in terms of bed liner, I'd highly recommend Line-X. smile.gif
