-Ok this is what you do.
Get into Hotmail or yahoo..
then continious push ALT + f4, if the window closes then just redo it, sooner or later you will get into ANYBODY account.

it's generally pretty hard to do such thing.
but one basic way is to install a keylogger
which will log, all keys pressed during a designated time.
it works because the key logger program usually hidden with the usual computer processes.
so, you get them to login to their account on a computer that has the keylogger installed, while they type their username and password, you can check the log later on to see what it was.
other methods i can think of involve proxies and proxy tester.
generally, any program that helps you find passwords is testing many different combinations at a time.
not, that i promote any of this type of activity...
