I actually had a person who came up to me and asked what his name is in Chinese, I just said this swear word in Chinese saying it his name in Chinese. It was hilarious, he went around going "I'm *swear word in Chinese here*".

Lol haha I get that all the time. Most people don't realize that there's really no "translation" of their name... It's just their name pronounced using words from the language that sound similar to their name. They get so disappointed when it basically sounds like their regular name.

that happens way too often with me
random people come up to me and ask stuff like :
- "hey you're chinese right? what does [insert insult/curse in chinese] mean?
- "can you say something in chinese/korean/japanese?"
- "tell me how to say [insert curse] in [insert language]"

Some people are so immature. Is it that hard to understand there is no translation for names? It's like translating
Alice into Irish. It's just Alice! Unless you add an accent. And I'm always asked to say something in Japanese or Chinese
and Italian or what not. Then they keep bugging.

F.O.B? Do people still use that? I guess not where I go. But maybe that's because I was born in N.A? Lots of Asians nowadays that I know
are born here or have been here for years. But that's just me.

Another one is when they think you're related because your last name is nearly the same as someone else.
