Okay,, so heres how it goes... in the summer for 2 months ive been eating breakfast EVERyday and then like drank soup at night for dinner,, thats it,, thats what i do EVERyday. So i got alot skinnier than b4. i weighted like 105 pounds...but then when summer ended i started getting fatter and fatter again. Now i weight like.. 120~ 125 pounds.o_O So please HELP ME ! i dont know what to do. : (...And alot of times i cant control myself. i wanna eat junk food and stuff... when i eat ,i eat ALOT. when i dont eat i liek DONT eat anothing.. sleep.gif and if u tell me to eat liek 6 meals a day and liek little little at a time.. i cant do that : ( i tried... : ( and my mom keeps like yelling at me and saying im fat and that all of my frends r so skinny... : (. Sigh ~ and the problem is i cant go to the gym and stuff...

But, first off, you can start by exercising regularly.

You don't have to go to the gym to exercise..just go jogging around your neighborhood or something.

As for the eating issue, just..please FORCE yourself to eat less junk food and more fruits and veggies happy.gif

eat 4 meals a day, and 1 snack.
if you cant go gym, go jog outside.
or pop in an aerobics tape at home and follow along.
for food, you'll just have to start slowly.
if you eat chips, soda, etc everyday, start by removing one can of soda a day.
drink water or sparking mineral water. [the one with lemon/lime flavor is not bad]
then progress to remove on serving of chips everyday, until you build the discipline.
once you cut a little, start replacing with healthy foods.
it takes time, but i'm sure you can do it

You also need protein and such.

And if you can't eat small meals a day, and you don't eat lunch......what else can we suggest that you'll try?

yeah but u know my parents liek buys SOO much junk food for my bro and sis to eat.. and whenever i see them eating it and see it i.. -__- : (and do u know if i should eat 3 meals a day and how much?

Well, you should have 3 meals.
Breakfast - cereal or fruit
Lunch - a turkey sandwich
Dinner - Soup or salad (be careful with dressing selections)

If you get hungry, you can snack on nuts and fruits.

You can eat fruits, veggies, whole grain cereals, beans, nonfat dairy products (yogurt, etc), low fat meats and poultry, and also fish.
Just avoid foods that are high in fat and calories, and avoid foods high in sugar (pies, candy, etc).

If you're really serious about losing weight, you should exercise too. It'd be a lot more effective.
Try running 3-4 times a week (at least).

And if you want, allow yourself a fatty meal/snack once in a while? Haha...

Also, just because certain drinks are diet, doesn't mean that it's better. (Some contain a lot of substitutes that aren't so good).

Suggest healthier treats for your family? I'm a single child so I don't know how to handle it with siblings stuffing their faces with junk. My mother had high cholesterol once, though. So I replaced all our soda with juice and water, chips with crackers, and suggested more vegetable over meat. It worked, her cholesterol went down and we've maintained the same diet. If you REALLY want to eat junk, try to limit it to once a week.

When my friend wants to resist eating, she'll drink water or juice. She's pretty thin (but still healthy).

For exercise, I don't know. I'm still working on that. Exercise in the morning for maybe 30 minutes because it should be more effective. It's hard to exercise in the morning, but just try to sleep earlier so you can get up earlier (but that means you'll need to eat dinner earlier too). I do jumproping in my basement. You could try jogging if you live in a safe environment (I've heard stories of people in my town getting chased down by loonies while they exercised, so I don't jog).

aish...even if you eat one meal a day without exercising you will still be fat...I'm an example...jogging slim down your stomach alot...try it out for one week and you'll see a difference...

i think u should have regular meals instead of having one big meal...bout the exercise thingy...u can do some cardio exercise such as jogging,jumproping,crunches n so on....

Exercise might not be that effective if you're not flabby or w/e because then your fat will just turn to muscle..you might gain weight from it actually (muscle). I exercised off 3,600 cals this whole week and even though I eat less now, I gained like 2 lbs..

So some jogging and stuff could help, but not like strenuously working out at the gym cos then it would be more like toning up instead of losing the fat.

Eat meals with filling foods like bread, veggies, etc. so you don't feel like snacking throughout the day. o,o

Get your mum to help you. If you can control yourself and stay away from the cupboard, then just get your mum to get food for you. Will power girl! You can do it! Or just wait until summer. Lol.

D :... my frend said that jogging wont really help.. but ive been liek jogging 3 days straight now.. and then its just tat my legs hurt and nothing else seemed to happen..sleep.gif annd i gained 1 pound.. ew : (

My friend told me that over the summer she did this and lost 10 pounds.

She stopped eating white rice and started eating brown rice and ONLY brown rice.
First 4-5 days of the week she only ate meat, and only meat with the brown rice.
The last 2-3 days, she didn't eat the meat anymore and ate fruits and veggies instead with the brown rice.

Also exercise won't make you lose weight. It will most likely tone up your muscles, making yourself look less clumpy. Exercise might make you gain weight (depends on what you do), as muscle weighs more than fat.
