They're both instant ramen. I like Maruchan brand though, if you're talking about brands. I haven't eaten top ramen or cop of noodle brand though.

Depends. Cup Noodle is better if you're in a hurry, but Top Ramen is better if you have some time on your hands lol. Plus it has more options.

I prefer the top ramen because the noodles taste better. but cup noodles are more compact and better if you don't have a lot of time to eat.

Usually, I try not to eat ramen, but when there are no other options, I like Shin Ramen...it has more flavor than the other two and I like the spicyness..:-D and it comes in both a cup and in a bag!

Although I'm not the biggest fan of ramen, Shin Ramen tops both of these Americafied brands. Haha. I hate them; they taste icky and blanddd. o___o

both are gross.
Sapporo Ichiban is a good instant ramen, but Myojo Chukazanmai is the best for packaged instant ramen.

top ramen, its easier to improvise and add stuff to, so it would make for a more 'substantial' meal?

fyi, ramen in japan is really expensive. cup ramen is like $1.
other instant noodles are really complicated. you open the package and there's 3 different packets on top of the noodles.
one is a flavor packet, one has the dried veggies and another might have some dried meat.
