They can't be that stupid.. if history has taught them anything this should be a much cheaper alternative to ferraris..

at that price it better be hell lot better than both lambo and ferrari and within enzo peformance, or acura raise its brand awareness as a world respected top tier manufacturer lol

Unless it has something reeeeally extravagant.
I would think $100k is reasonable, considering that's around the price range back then.

The world dont work that way, and thats why porsche carrera will always sell more than the gtr even if gtr are not limited, why nsx didnt sell as much, why m3 is still prefered > isf... why bmw sells so well when its over priced and only marginally better than the competition.
acura thought like you when they made the nsx.. a very good car in its own right and outright competes with ferraris and porsches, but the people that rich are people too, they buy cars for the image, only the enthusiasts care about the performance and engineering... and no one wants a 100k honda, with a 6 cylinder engine, when they can buy the heritage of the porsche and ferrari for the same cost... if all they are doing is to get attention and show that they are rich.
see go ahead and ask a normal person, i tried it on my mom a while back, i ask her how much ferrari's costs, shes like expensive over 100k maybe, i show her the nsx and tell her its a honda, and she said 50k? that lies the problem...

Actually the "nsx replacement" will be a v10 engine. But I get what you're saying and it is very much true about the image thing.
