yeah, 2 days ago i wanted to study for a midterm for the next day with my friend but i locked myself out of my apartment. i hung out at my friend's place til around 1 pm and then went back home, knocked on the door til my roommate let me. i went to my bed and decided to take a nap. i wake up and check the time, it was 5:20 pm... my midterm starts at 5 pm. o mini cooper. i ran out and got to class by 5:40 pm and finished the midterm and turned it in

ionno how in the world i woke up after only 3 hours of sleep but i did and didn't miss my midterm, HOWEVER, i have missed midterms before. anyone else?

I have never missed a midterm (yet). At least you went and finished it -- I would have given up and gone back to sleep if I were you My friend was in a music class with me and he accidentally missed the midterm so he dropped the class before the "drop before W" deadline.

Yeah, I missed my very first final exam ever. I woke up after it was already over, though. Sure enough, napping was the culprit. I stayed up really late studying the night before, the exam was at 9 am, so then I decided to sleep for just a few hours from 5 am to 8 am...BAD idea! Next thing I knew it was already 1 pm and the exam was over.

My friend once missed a Biology midtern, but luckily her prof was nice enough to set up another time for her to take it - I was surprised, most don't do that.

But she was crying and stuff, so.. maybe he got soft-hearted.

Well I got a 24% on that midterm so that set my pace in the class (never got anything higher than 32% in that Math270 class). I have been like 10 minutes late for them before, late to class... find out the closer parking lot is full... drive all the way to the other side of the school to park at the empty but far lot, run to class.. not fun.

Thinking about missing a midterm sends chills up my spine.
I've had a few dreams where I missed my midterms and I would wake up shaking.
It's a friggin nightmare.

No matter how bad they are, energy drinks are the way to go.

I have. I told the professor my friend's dad didn't speak english well, and there was a policeman at his store, and I had to go help him get it sorted out. He believed me, and he let me take it with another class.

i would never miss a midterm
even last year, when my dorm building had a fire in the middle of the night
i went to class in my pjs and took my midterm
i only slept 3 hours before the fire alarm went off too

ugh, i have ANOTHER midterm in an hour, i should PROBABLY be studying but... you know how it is

once i intentionally missed a midterm, yeah, my chem one. i had 2 midterms 1 day and 1 the next, math and chem so i decided to not take chem cuz in the syllabus he said if you do good on the final, he'll replace a midterm grade with the final grade. so after i take my final i'm like wow i did well on that final. so i tell my friend what was up and she's like "hey *blank*, you do know that he only replaces midterms you've taken right?" and i was like wtf? why would he do that, wat's the point? i thought she was bs'ing me. sure enough i read the syllabus and it says in bold print REDEMPTION ONLY APPLIES TO MIDTERMS YOU'VE TAKEN. man was i sad.... i got a 0 on 1 midterm and got a C+ in the class....

yeah, i've missed a midterm. totally spaced that we had a midterm that day, came to class 15 minutes late and everyone was in their seat, writing a bunch of stuff. i didn't study and basically couldn't answer any of the questions (it was an interior design image-recognition exam). i explained the situation to my prof., she was kinda cool abt it. i failed the exam horribly, she let me turn in an extra credit assignment, and i ended up with a B in the class. pshaw.

yah i missed my history finals 2 weeks ago.. i've been living in agony since...
the teacher wouldn't let me take it again, so i'm stuck with an F for a exam that
was worth 60% of the final grade... me having a B+ average won't help me..
so yeah... i def failed my first university class...
