I believe this is the gaming version than the newer g15 that outs right now. ^^;

So far it's pretty big. o_o But gives a lot for me to do.. Love the macro keys and the mini screen. ^^;

Was wondering if anyone had this keyboard and how you guys like it so far?

Also wondering.. under the screen display theres little 4 black buttons (not the circle button) what do those do?

Just cause I was bored.. took a picture of it on my ghetto-need-to-be-updated-desk... XD

I've had this keyboard for half a year. It's good I guess.. I kinda wish I bought the razer gaming keyboard instead, because I haven't found many useful programs for the screen & I reckon I'd benefit more from a gaming keyboard with anti ghosting and precision keys rather than one with a monochrome screen. It's usually just displaying my cpu and ram usage. If you find some good stuff for the screen than it's prob a great purchase smile.gif

Btw those 4 buttons under the screen are for programs that need buttons (example: the logitech countdown timer, you'll notice it'll use those 4 buttons for start stop pause etc). And that toggle switch to the left? It's function is to disable the windows key, preventing any accidental presses while gaming. Took me ages to figure that out because it wasn't on the logitech website/instruction book

^ Ah! Thank you so much! biggrin.gif

and That toggle computer/gaming switch is pretty awesome. ^^; I know i'm notorious for hitting the start menu button during full screen games >< and my window just minimizes! And then i'm dead in my game. sad.gif Haha

Thanks a lot!! ^^

I actually like the newer version of the G15 better. Don't think I could possibly make that many shortcuts for the older style version lol. That and it doesn't fit on my table xD

Meh, I'm not a fan of the newer G15 mainly due to the screen. I think it's smaller? Can't be too sure

And yeah, the toggle switch is just genius! I hate it whenever I press the window key instead of ctrl/alt

I have one of these keyboards. Its pretty useless to me, and I am probably the most hardcore gamer in the world.

The 4 little black buttons are for navigating around the LCD Menu. Kind of like on the older cellphones.

I don't like the keyboard, I think i should have gotten a turantula keyboard.
It has "anti-ghosting" So you can press 10 keys at once, and none of them will lockout.

For example...me and my little sister used to play SNES ROMS together on the same keyboard. If she pressed too many buttons while we were playing street fighter, I couldn't do a hadouken....etc.

Going on....If you are a hardcore FPS player, your WASD keys will wear out in about 3 months and the PAINT on those keys will actually start to chip and crack....and BLUE LIGHT will begin to seep through and make your keyboard look kinda ghetto.

Lol.

All in all.....its cooler than a normal keyboard. GG

^ +1 to everything you said. I wish I bought a gaming keyboard with scissor keys and anti ghosting instead. I almost never use the macros (I don't play rpg, only play rts once in awhile, but play fps most of the time) and the screen isn't much help if there's no support

xD Love all the bluees. smile.gif

I don't play FPS.. don't care for them.. But I do play a lot of RPGS.. so my WASD keys will get worn. I'm thinking of buying some clear stickers (or even anything thats clear tape like) and put them over my keys (not ghettoly but nicely XD) so I can keep the keys from rubbing away into a blue ghost of dooooooooom!!

^^;
