Also to those who said Venus seemed a tad vapid/shallow/focused too much on beauty, I googled it and it says Venus represents what you're attracted to as well as who is attracted to you. So if they girls were named Venus, that would make a bit of sense since we are attracted to their personalities, music, and overall style.

Well I think a lot of us came to the conclusion that Venus put an emphasis on beauty because Venus is the Roman Goddess of Love and Beauty and attracted men to love her BECAUSE of her beauty. But I like your meaning of Venus better, unfortunately it's not as well known that way =T

I think we all got Venus from szai posting "the goddesses of beauty are coming!" and then people googled that and got Aphrodite/Venus and I think subconciously they are still linking them with Big Bang so they chose Venus xD

I don't think they will choose Venus...can you imagine what CL's face would have looked like when YG said "Youa re going to be named Venus"
