Spring time is coming up new acts.

It's an interesting time in kpop and I'm glad our girls are entering the foray. I don't know... I'd rather them enter a busy time so they could prove themselves, then debut at a quiet time you know?

First of all, YG has revealed their plan; they are preparing to debut a new female group to continue the legend of Big Bang (debut in 2006);

this line made me twitch a little lol. maybe since its translated it comes off that way but sigh this is just adding more "Female Big Bang" image.

I know they're talented enough and strong enough to completely make a name of their own but it's going to be a lot harder but still... some words will be hard to hear not just for us as fans but for them as well.

About the 'to continue the legend of Big Bang'...
to me, it's more like YG wants the girls to continue or follow what the boys did in the music industry. And that is to be different and to have their own style be it in dancing or fashion and to have their own kind of music. We all know that BB is an icon now and everything they wear, do or say affects the industry and maybe YG wants 21 to be the same.

well, that's just my thoughts about the article...

and about the name, i guess cuz this time there are two artists with the name 21.
while the big bang one was a foreigner band's name (so probably not alot of korean netizens know about this?).

Legend of Big Bang? Sorry but BB is not a legend so this doesn't make sense. YG needs to start promoting the girls away from BB. The girls got a lot of interest, so he needs to capitalize on that quickly and not wait until April.

Everyone was spazzing about the name until it was found out that there is another singer with the same name? I don't understand. I didn't see folks complaining about BB when there is another band called Big Bang.
