look up

SILVER (will run on most laptops)
diablo 2 or diablo 1 (not so cute)
Final Fantasy 7 should run provided you have some 3d card power
any of the rpgers using emulators and SNES games: Secret of Mana, Chronotrigger
use an emulator for N64 to run Link: Ocarina of Time etc

the best rpgers and anime for single player on the low power PC are via using emulators
