yay!! i just got my new laptop in the mail this week!!
this is my crazy super old small laptop:
Averatec, a brand that use to make 'small' laptops about 'ten' years ago
the cover was completely scratched up after throwing it into my bad with coil notebooks, so i deco taped it with MonokuroBoo desgins, haha, i think the screen is about 12inches
it's still pretty usable, little slow, but works
however as you can see it's insanely ugly
I also have a HP laptop that's almost 3 yrs old now, but that's 17inch so i can't take that to school...
NEW LAPTOP: SONY VAIO P!!! Made In JAPAN (haha, i know, but that still influenced my purchase)
super light, i'm just waiting for the amourone skins, and case order to come in before i bring this baby to school
it's connected to bunch of wires cause i'm using it as my at home study computer,
so i connected it to my desktop monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse
i'm gonna upgrade it to windows 7 as soon as i finish my midterms, so glad their giving student a discount or else i wouldn't be able to afford it after getting this laptop and the accessories.

NEVER GET TOSHIBA.
I don't have a name & honestly, I despised that thing.
But now I have this...
Sony VGN CS series. or something like that.
It works beautifully! I DEFINITELY recommend it! ^_^

i have a Dell laptop and a Acer netbook. laptops are more useful cuz the screen isn't so small and it runs faster.

I currently have a Compaq BTO that's a couple of years old.
I am hoping to upgrade within the next 6 months. I haven't decided on what I am going to get.

I have the Acer Aspire 4520, running with Vista. It's terrribbbbllllleeee. So slooww. Startup time is 13 minutes, at the least. I've even upgraded the RAM and cleaned out my computer so much, until I have basically nothing on it, but it still takes forever to load anything, lol. But I manage.

put windows 7 on it, use your school if you can to help you get it for 39.99. I guarantee it will be faster, I had a good computer running vista and start up times were so bad. windows 7 even runs fast on a slow computer. Honestly try it, for 40 bucks how can you be wrong?
