just wonderign whether anybody else likes to play with their retainer with their tongue?

the retainer is that plastic whatsit that sits against the top of your mouth to hold your teeth in position after braces.

well i had 2. a pink and a white one. i used to like to suck at it and suck it down (pop) and push it back up (click) and make funny slurpee noises with them. i do it to help me think....

so in class its like there's be silence and then my pop, sluurp, clicking.. of course once i realised every1 could hear it i stopped.. but i still did it on my own.....

anyone else use their tongue to play with their retainer?

This is such a bad habit of mine. After I got my retainers, I would always play with my bottom retainer. I'd pop it up from my teeth, put it back on, pop it up again... But now that I only have to wear them during the night, this habit's started going away.

I have such a bad habit of doing that!
i go to my dentist to tighen my retainers then they become loose again afte an ahour cause i just can stop playing with them..

lmaooo XD i do that! only the bottom one, though. the top one's hard to pop out.
LOL. sometimes i used to take it out and show it to people on my tongue 8D they were all like.. grossed out.
i don't do it anymore though. haha it's... pretty disgusting. XD

i actually love doing that on the bottom one haha! i tried pushing the top up, to make it secure.. but the metal thingy snapped hahaah iunno how?! hahaha so yeahh its broken. too lazy to go to the ortho but its alright im not supposed to use retainers no more =S . its jst my mouth feels empty without it at night

Haha, i had the habit of playing with my retainers with my tongue but now it's kind of died down... LOL!

I always did that when I had a retainer...... until I broke the metal part off lol.
My parents weren't too happy with me about that xD
