Johan Lorbeer is a German street performer. He became famous in the past few years because of his “Still-Life” Performances, which took place in the public area. His installations includes “Proletarian Mural” and “Tarzan”, which are famous in Germany. Several of these performances feature Lorbeer in an apparently impossible position.

With his still-life performances, this German artist seems to unhinge the laws of gravity. For hours on time, he remains, as a living work of art, in physically impossible positions. Elevated or reduced to the state of a sculpture, he interacts with the bewildered and irritated audience, whose appetite for communication rises as time goes by, often culminating in the wish to touch the artist in his superhuman, angelic appearance in order to participate in his abilities.

hmmm, i dont think this was photoshopped
dont take this as trashing it, but from what i see here's how i think he did it...

my clues:
1) he wears the same outfit at every location
2) he doesnt make any facial expression nor any interaction with the "audience"(eg looking down): fellow magicians would agree with me that if he interacted with ppl below him, it would create a much greater effect
3) one hand is always on the wall, and it's pretty much the same pose in every picture
4) the only "skin" we see are on his face, and his hands
5) the body structure seems a bit off, especially the shoulders
6) there are no pictures showing how he go up there, nor down from there
7) at all the locations, it was either indoor, or a place where there isnt wind (you can tell from one of the pictures with flags)

which led me to conclude that
1) this is not a real human being, merely "a doll"
2) his hands and face are made with really great make-up techniques (which are perfectly possible nowadays)
3) the rest of the body is made with really light material
4) that one hand is either drilled, or tightly attached to the wall one way or another
5) the location must not have wind because it'll move the doll in ways that'll give away the secret
6) it cannot interact nor change expressions because it's just a doll
6) it can only look in that direction, because if it looked down and no one was there it will be weird

a great effect nonetheless.
