OOOooo~kay..

ive been like hopping to one major to another...(btw im still taking general ed classes so im safe for now)

just before this one, ive been considering linguistics, and now I'm starting to take interest in industrial design.

I found it REALLY interesting, but the "physics" <class> part freaked me out. ive never taken physics before, and im afraid it might be too hard!!~o_O

ive never been too GREAT in physics, math....e.t.c. but ive never been too bad in it...

if any of you guys are an industrial design major, can you please tell me how it is?

happy.gifU

thanks in advance

omg, thats soo cool!!!~

well, in Cal State University of Long Beach, you have to take physics, and all these "technical" classes that im not too great in, but my aesthetics skills are good!

btw, i know a few jobs you can get into with a ID degree, but I want to know more career options. Can you please share your information on that too please? happy.gifU

Thank You

oo, good luck sleep.gif;; haha

yeah, aesthetics + craftsmanships is very important along with your conceptual execution

idk a lot about career options just yet b.c i haven't done any extensive research about it but ID has such a broad range of opportunities such as kitchenware, cell phone/mp3 (consumer electronics), fashion (handbags, shoes, etc.), watches, environmental, toy, etc. etc. etc. so i think its a really great major if you're still on the uncertain side

All the Industrial Design majors I know spend all their time in studio and don't have a social life tongue.gif but the things they make are pretty cool.

I dont have it but I hear its very boring once you get into the field. A friend of mine was an industrial design major. He doesnt really seem to enjoy his line of work. But if you're in it for the money, I guess it's alright.
