Ap Government Examen Dilemma

Okay . So on Monday, May 5th, that was the AP Government Examen.
I spent about 2-3 weeks doing intense studying and whatnot.
And the day of the examen was also the first day of districts for tennis.
So before the AP Gov examen, me and my other friend taking the examen went to the AP Coordinator (Ms. Guise) and asked her if we could leave early cause we weren't sure what the rules were.
Ms. Guise said it was fine.
So after the AP examen, they collected just our tests and took us in a different room and finished reading the rest of the instructions and then we were free to go.
Today, Ms. Guise saw me in the hall and told me to go to her office.
So I went there and probably waited for like 45 minutes, wasting half of my class time until she finally came.
She told me to come in and this is what she said:
"It turns out I wasn't supposed to let you leave early so you will not get any credit for taking it. I'm sorry. You still MIGHT be able to get credit on your other examens, but as for this one, you can't."
I was just like "WTF."
So pretty much we are getting penalized for her incompetency and this pisses me off so much.
She also said:
"There's nothing I can do about it. Are you okay?"
I started tearing up out of anger and I couldn't say anything so I just walked out.
And honestly, I have no idea of the course of action I should take at this point.
Should we petition? Complain to the principle (that's what my brother suggests)?
Thanks for your input.

uhh...first of all, wtf? if the teacher doesn't know the rules in the first place she should've checked. It's her fault anyways. Talk to the principal or call the AP office about it. Hope it works out for you.
我不会再相信爱情了。这样你满意了吧?

thats so stupid, go talk to someone about that. there were kids that had to take the french ap exam right after the ap gov exam except we started a bit late and the coordinators didnt want them to be late so they let them go first (after collecting the exams, they collected theirs first), and im sure they didnt get in trouble. your situation seems similar to theirs, and nothing (at least what i know of) happened to these kids because they HAD to go and take another exam.

our AP Spanish and Stat both started awhile after the allotted time and the administrators just told us to write a different start time so it would count haha

M... while that was definitely against the rules, it's also the teacher's fault. I think you should just contact the AP offices and maybe ask to do the makeup test or something? It still sucks but at least your score won't be cancelled? D: Think of it as...an extra practice test... xD
I hope everything works out for you though. D:
