^I agree. If your not trying to make a point, then why post something like this here? And if you are, I think enough people know about this kind of stuff that they can make a conscious choice by themselves. I love my meat, I like it to be cheap, honestly, if the cost of having these animals slaughtered like this allows for my meat to be cheaper than so be it. It isnt even all like this, nowadays think about free range chicken and other similar initiatives. The whole "dont eat meat, fur is murder" banter doesn't fly anymore. Trying not to attack you personally is hard, because what you posted seems so naive. As if you didn't know these things go in slaughter houses, I mean what did you expect, lethal injections that bring a painless death? Im not putting down vegetarianism or anything either, its fine too, nothing wrong with it, but the advocaters, and agitators are what bug me. Ill eat as many steaks, veals, ribs, and chicken wings as i damn well please. Even the thread title is predictable, "how your meat is made". Im sick of seeing people post these videos with morality issues and what not, especially on a forum like this. Try going to other forums and posting this kind of generic junk. Also like Maddox said, for every animal you don't eat, ill eat 2.

The part where they stab the middle of the animals chests (near the throat) to let the blood out is a traditional way of doing it...

In my survival training, I've realized it was damn hard to knock out a huge animal before doing anything... Surely the sleeping darts are the best... But I suppose that in factories where they slaughter those animals, they don't have time to knock out an animal or make it sleep... They had to use the fastest, brutalest and priceless way which would sadly make the animals suffer... Those who work there usually release their anger and stuff... Sort of psychopath... They get used to it though. If any of you girls are dating one of them, well, I wonder how you wouldn't find him creepy...

Back to my trainings, it takes like three to five 9mm bullets in the head of a beef to kill it in the most instant way we can, using weapons... Then we hang it on a tough three branch to do the "traditional way" of taking the blood out. One of my mates kept the blood because he likes to eat blood (not drink it)... Then yeah we take the skin out and etc...
I think hunting is fun but to work in a factory where you slaughter animals, maaan... It must be a hell...
In some factories, especially the ones making sausages, animals get slaughtered instantly in machines at least...

I admit it's such a sad thing to kill an animal... But this is our world...

I can almost compare this to WARS...
In our world, there has to be some wars out there and we can't do anything about it, as the politics and stuff (whatever is related with them) are handling it, not us... We see our soldiers fighting and getting killed brutaly, even tortured. We see THEIR soldiers being killed brutaly too, and even tortured as well. All the violences and cruelties right there just for us and our countries...

Same for this case (animals)... All violences and cruelties just for us... Foods... If we go there and try to stop them, it's like going on the battlefields and stop our soldiers in the middle of a war... Anyway, I live my life doing what I have to do and what I like to do... Whoever wants to go stop any cruel act, go ahead and good luck...

I still think the worst of all is the cow with testicules ripped off violently or whatever it was... If you were a man, you would understand how much it already hurts just from getting the balls poked... I can't imagine the pain we could get, having it cut off when we're all alive and conscious... I really don't get the logic from cutting the testicules of a cow alive though... FOR WHAT?!?! Express delivery for Fear Factor?!
