due to some discrepancies maybe? (what kind...??)
if so...how did you approach them and how did they react?

trying to see how it turned out when ppl asked their professors about
their final grade...
I dont want to get on her bad side since I'm TA-ing for one of her
classes next year...

yea, he changed my grade from a B to an A cuz i was like, you told me that if i take this final you give me an A instead of a B, you liar!!!!! (then i go on and on about fairness and reputation and other stuff for about 10mins) Finally he changed my grade.

The other time was C-, I think I worked really hard in your class, an I noticed that some of my peers are also struggling and I don't believe you graded us fairly? You have to high of an expectation from us. Can we talk this out amoungs the class? This was an accounting class.

I got my B-, but it was a lot of convencing, since I didn't do the accounting problems and read the text book. It was just a boring class. But I think I made an impact when I mentioned other students

^ did the prof. change it after the grades were posted?? I know a lot of them dont like doing that..so that's why
I'm feeling kinda awkward asking and stuff...

I had the same problem this week.
But it actually came out as a technicality.

When I went online to check all of my final grades,
I noticed that I had got a D for my math class.
I was so shocked, I knew it wasn't right
because coming into the finals, I had a B
and the final was uber easy.

I emailed every teacher in my math lab,
I called every line and left messages.
Noone replied back though.
So the next day I went back school
to figure out what went wrong.
Turned out that they never graded my final
because it was misplaced.
Instead of trying to contact me,
they decided to fail me instead.
Finally they found my test, graded it
and I got my well deserved B.
What idiots I have for teachers.
If I never came to school
raising hell about my grade then
they wouldnt have bothered looking
for the misplaced test.

Just last night I found out that one of my english classmate got an A in the class because he emailed sweet nothings to her.
So not fair. This student was never in class, had a weak oral presentation and probably a weaker research paper.
