hard case? I'm thinking about getting the clear hard cover

This is the one i use. I like it because it makes my nano wider, which makes it more comfortable in my hand. I have the black one for my black nano, a clear one for jenns and a brown one, just cause.

Its cheap, and shipping is pretty reasonable as well. Not to mention super kawaii!

It's a matter of preference. Hard cases tend to prevent scratches on the player and somewhat absorb the impact if you drop it. Silicone cases aren't slippery and they absorb the impact more than a hard case would.

I hope no one that I know has that biscuit case because I'd probably try to eat it.

i personally like the reflect cases (http://store.apple.c...1&s=topSellers)
it serves the same purpose as the clear one you posted but gives it an awesome effect
once the screen is lit up, it has a clear view but when idle, it acts like a mirror
also, different colored ones can be found at bestbuy, etc
too bad i cant use this for my touch

Silicone cases are real convenient for holding my iPod, but my leather case protects it the most well.

i used the silicon case for my mini. but right now i don't any for my classic.
the silicon one got annoying & stuck to everything.

I never drop my iPod (I won't allow it!) so I just use InvisibleShield. I do have a little pouch I put it in though

I want those little biscuit cases lol. I use the silicon cover which is really good cause i have dropped my ipod countless times but my ipod still works fine. I have a feeling that if you drop an ipod with the hard casing the case will like, break apart or crack.

id like a more expressive case but for right now i have a hard plastic agent18 clear case, which is fine for me. ive dropped my ipod nano 3g lots but it never cracks and the ipod hasnt broken yet, so this case works for me. back when i used to have the 5g i used a thick silicon case.
