I only use dried squid for making stock (really enhances the flavour; adds a certain sweetness and some depth).

I prefer the shredded prepared squid snacks that are ready to eat...Those are addicting. I just hate smelling like squid.

My mom always deep fried the squid the OP posted. I didn't know there were other ways to cook them! But yeah I usually ate it plain or dipped it in a vinegar sauce to complement its saltiness.

I love the taste of it. It's awesome when you go camping and you cook it over the fire. At home when I was a kid, my parents used to cook it in the toaster oven or the big oven. This is the first time I heard people microwaving it. I like to eat it plain or sometimes with a chili + garlic soy dipping sauce.

And cold beer goes well with it.

It gets addicting once in a while but seriously, if I eat it alot my teeth really hurts. and I haven't eaten that for a long time. not after I came back from Hong Kong when I was in grade three. had a barbeque with my whole family and my aunt roasted it for me. IT WAS GOOD

I love eating dried squid. I like dipping it with either gochujang or hosin and sarcha.
My dog is also very addicted too this.
It goes great with a few beer or other acoholi drinks
