Umm.. it really depends on how you damaged it..

Like mine for example.. mine was damaged cause i kept straightening it like nearly everyday.. so it's like.. dry and starts to break off..

But now it's all silky and shiny cause i used a new shampoo and hair treatment called "REDKEN"

You can get a gift pack for like.. $50AU something.. it has the shampoo, conditioner, heat protector, hair treatment, shining serum and fizz free..

It's really GOOD!

oooo i think i might give that Bain de Terre Hair Strengthening Mud Masque a try, haha..

but maybe you should try Dove Advanced Care Shampoo and Conditioner (the DARK blue bottle for Intensive Care)
I have it and I lovee it! Dove Products rocks for me~
plus its in a good price range!

but i'm still looking forward to try other stuff for my damage hair too~

=)

i totally suggest this at-home hair mask, even though it's kind of gross >,<
mix some mayonnaise and olive oil together in a bowl...the amount depends on how long your hair is. smooth the mixture all over your hair, concentrating on the most damaged spots (bangs, ends). twist your hair into a bun or put it in a clip or shower cap and leave it for a half hour. then wash it out and shampoo/condition.
i know it sounds disgusting but this mask has made such a huge difference for my damaged hair.
i also use loreal professional shampoo and phyto conditioner. according to my hair stylist, they are the best ones on the market :]

Hollywood Beauty Carrot Creme, three bucks at Walgreens. Slather it on overnight and wash it off in the morning, it makes my hair so sleek. Its cheap, and you get get the conditioner cream with it as a bonus!

well a simple home remedy that i use is... when i go to take a shower... cut up lemon/lime into 4s.. and bring it wih you in the shower.. get your hair wet first and squeeze the lemon/lime on your hair (i use about half a lime.. depends how long your hair is)... then rinse it out.. and shampoo and condition your hair like you do every day... i do this about 2, 3 times each week. it makes my hair feels healthier and more shiny... you should try it out

If you wanna use shampoo and conditioner, there is new thing from Ganier Fructis called damaged and repair. it works MIRACLES!!! It has a mask and a deep conditioner too. if you use thermal heat on your hair a lot use John Frieda thermal protection.

Hi Hyesunglove, I myself have a long hair and really get into that hair care stuff to the detail.
you might want to try this fekkai shea butter hair mask. If it's not working well, try to find other HAIR MASKS
those function like skin face masks, but it's for your hair. and try the phytodensium it's a kind of serum
to keep the hair and scalp healty. It it frizz out and dryness problem try to spray leave-in conditioner such as
one from john frieda leave-in conditioner spray

Hope those products help. And I think a good tip will be take vitamins
daily this help promote good health for hair and nail (cuz b4 I have nail problems too)
and don't wash it so often without conditioner and hair vitamins/serums cuz
this will leave your hair and scalp really dry and frizzy (and if it is oily don't conditioner near
the scalp

Well if you shampoo your hair everyday now, then I would suggest cutting down on that and shampooing your hair every other day (you can still rinse your hair with water and stuff), but if you MUST shampoo daily, then I would suggest diluting your current shampoo or else try using a baby shampoo which will be less harsh for your hair. Also, if you don't already, try to condition your hair daily, and get a deep conditioning mask to deep treat your hair about once a week. And once you get out of the shower, after towel drying your hair, put a little bit of leave-in conditioner and then comb (not brush) your hair as usual. Here's some of my recommendations, it's stuff that I've used before...oh and the prices are the approximates in USD. xD

Shampoo
Johnson's Baby Shampoo - ~$1.50
Johnson's Baby Extra Conditioning Shampoo - ~$3.00
Halo Hydrating Shampoo - ~$13.00
Halo Reparative Shampoo - ~$13.00
Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo - ~$3.00
TIGI Bed Head Moisture Maniac Shampoo - ~$8.00
Conditioner
Halo Hydrating Conditioner - ~$13.00
Halo Reparative Conditioner - ~$13.00
Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner - ~$3.00
Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal Conditioner - ~$6.00
TIGI Bed Head Moisture Maniac Conditioner - ~$8.00
Deep Conditioning Treatment/Mask
Aloette Revitalizing Intensive Protein Pak - ~$13.00 (works great, but smells a bit funny. it uses aloe vera as the main ingredient like all their other products.)
Garnier Fructis Fortifying Deep Conditioner 3 Minute Masque - ~$3.50
TIGI Bed Head Treat Me Right Peppermint Hair Mask - ~$18.50 (loooove<3)
Leave-in Conditioner
Johnson's Baby No More Tangles Leave-in Conditioner - ~$3.00
TIGI Bed Head Ego Boost Split-End Mender and Leave-in Conditioner - ~$13.50 (daily usage)
Biosilk Silk Therapy - ~$13.50 (my sister loves this stuff, I find it to be a bit greasy/oily though...o_O)

Hope that helps!

i use the l'oreal vive with the pearl protein. yah.. it's cheap, but works SUPERWELL for it's price. the trick? squeeze the water out of your hair before applying the conditioner, then let it soak while you wash your body, shave, or whatever else you do in the shower! if you can, rinse with ICE COLD WATER... this is for everyday washing

once in awhile, treat yourself to biolage conditioning balm. leave it in for at least five minutes before you rinse out... the stuff has the consistency of paste, and i personally don't like the smell... but every three months, i'll use it in my hair cuz my apt complex has some of the HARDEST WATER EVER!

any other questions, consult www.thetrixie.com that woman is my god to all things girly! and her sister is my god for all things tomboy!

I've never used this but seen it on TV all the time.. it's called "WEN" here's the webb.. they also have videos for samples..
http://www.wenhaircare.com/index.php?acnt=...hair|1573419526

after all I rather not use a lot of styling shampoo.. just stick to one brand.. it can damage your hair more... just take care away from heating irons..

My hair was very damaged from a perm job. I've used Garnier which was great, but stopped working after a month.

I bought the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle and pleasantly surprised by the difference. I use it once a week and after two weeks I noticed how much healthier my hair was and so did my friends.

My hair is thick and wavy, it has improved immensely from the bad perm job and I barely have knots (yay!).

edit: The one that I use is not in the photo, but looks the same. It is called Aussie DEEEEEP 3 minute miracle repair moisture treatment.

its odd.. my hair is the silkiest and prettiest after i dye it using garnier fructis.. b/c of the conditioner xD
but have you tried dove deep conditioning conditioner?
even though i dye my hair every season & got it japanese straightened awhile back my hairs still silky
just find something that works for you
for me anything but tressume shampoo & dove conditoner makes my hair not silky
and only garnier for colored hair conditoner works the first few weeks

Use Redken hands down! Redken is internationally known and it always works for me! They use it at Tremayne where my friends work. It works wonders, trust me!

Here's the website.

http://www.redken.com/international/

Oh yeah, I recommend you use the blue extreme repair shampoo and conditioner to repair the damage in your hair and then use the gold all soft treatment mask! Leave it in for 5 minutes or as long as you desire and your hair will be like red carpet hair. Trust me, I've bleached my hair over a thousand times and had it chemically curled once and it did so much damage to my hair, but ever since I switched from using Garnier to Redken, my hair became instantly healthy looking, more manageable, less breakage and split ends.
