I'd say try Japchae, dukboki, or like, bibimbap. o__o er, I guess you can googleimage them, I'm too lazy to post pics. sorry. Japchae=noodles and like, veggies and beef and stuff, dukboki=spicy rice cakes, bibimbap... er... rice with like. o__o stuff. LOL. SORRY, I'm terribly unhelpful.

Chicken Soup w/ Ginseng.. or Samgyetang.

To be honest, isn't it kind of weird to eat dukbokki in a fancy restaraunt? :S (I'm assuming you're not going to a small little shop)

At my favorite Korean restaurant, they make really good ahl jigae (sp?). It's basically soup with fish and kimchi. It's spicy but really good. I also order a side of kalbi which is short ribs. Pork stir fried with kimchi and tofu is also good. Ahh I want some korean food now T_T

Mmmmm I want some ahl jjigae. Btw it's not just fish. They're fish eggs. sweatingbullets.gif

I looove yookgaejahng. My mom makes the best. It's a spicy soup and it has veggies and meat in it. (': I love gamjatang. It has A LOT of meat in it like it's piled on and it has potatos in it. The place I usually go to they give you another sauce to dip it in but I went to a different place a couple days ago and they didn't give it to me. Boo them. I like daeji boolgogi too. It's just spicy marinated pork. Lol. Try soontofu too. They bring it to you and you put an egg in there and just mix it so it cooks cause it comes like boiling when they bring it to you. It's just tofu and usually if you go to an actual soontofu place they have different kinds like ham&sausage etc. biggrin.gif As you can tell .. i'm really hungry right now. sleep.gif

Is it a specialty restaurant? Go for whatever is the special at that place, if so.
If it's just everything, maybe you could try bulgogi - marinated beef with onions and peppers, dakdoritang - spicy chicken stew, kalbi tang - beef rib soup with vegetables.
Why wasn't the first time so pretty? Is there something you hate to eat? What have you tried before?
