Britney Spears Involved in Fender Bender




Adding another black mark to her already sub-par driving record, Britney Spears was involved in a minor car accident Tuesday afternoon in Beverly Hills.
According to press reports, the Gimme More singer rear-ended a red Ford Explorer, with a witness telling People magazine: “I think she was just distracted. She just tapped the other car in front of her.”


<A name=cutid1>Apparently, Britney was out for a joyride in her white Mercedes-Benz SL65 with the accident occurring shorty after she left her Studio City pad.
Luckily for Ms Spears, her new bald bodyguard was riding along with her - handling the situation like a pro. Reports tell that he had the driver of the Explorer follow them to Brit’s gated community so that they could exchange information without the allowing paparazzi capture the moment.

Well, it's good that she wasn't all upset and emotional about it though. It was handled pretty well thanks to her bodyguard person.

The pop princess was behind the wheel her white Mercedes SL down Sunset around 2:10 PM this afternoon. Brit wa when she rear-ended a red Ford Explorer driven by a Latina woman in her 30s. Luckily, neither Britney nor the other driver (or, for that matter, Britney's bodyguard, who had been riding shotgun in her Mercedes) was injured, although Brit's car sustained some damage to the front. Britney stayed in her car during the accident while her bodyguard hashed out the details with the other driver, who then followed Britney's Mercedes back to the Summit. After no more than 15 minutes, the driver emerged from the house. Britney (who was seen texting on her phone earlier) was in the right lane on Sunset, behind the maroon Ford Explorer, when the cars in the left hand lane got a green light to turn left on Hillcrest. Britney saw the cars in the left lane accelerating in her peripheral vision, and thought she had a green light as well. That's when the minor incident occured. Although both cars sustained very minor damage, luckily there don't seem to be any injuries.

Seriously, its just a mistake. OMG, I wonder how many people have these kinds of accidents in their life time. It just seems Britney does hers alot bc its recorded on public media.
