Well...I tried looking for a topic for chemical engineer, but I couldn't find it so here goes...

I am declaring Chemical Engineer and I want to know, from people who knows, if it is a good, ok major. I would love to hear people's (YOUR) experiences as a chemical engineer student. Please share the love.

Thanks! happy.gif

I heard it is very good. I know a guy who graduated and is making some good money! But, as with any engineering.. its tough. Are you best at math and science? If not I think you should go for another major..

It's supposed to be super hard... but (out of the majors at my college) it pays the most.

My mentor is a computer engineering major. He's always busy and we rarely saw him... but it's cool. He got some co-op thing so it's all good. smile.gif I wish you luck. All that Chemistry sends shivers down my spine.

hahaha im actually looking for the engineers topic but was surprised i found chemical engineer XD dont take the course its really hard!! no seriously it depends. if u like maths with a bit of physics and physical chemistry, then it should be okay. im in my final year and so far i think the course is really exhausting. but the most interesting thing is when u get to do plant design. but then again it depends on which uni u go to. i have friends doing the same course but at different uni, the modules are a bit different and seems a bit easier. but engineering is never easy trust me ive heard it from so many people doing it. but at the end of the day when u graduated, it pays. sweatingbullets.gif

Graduate in two days with BS ChemE. PM me if you have any specific questions. There are two threads, I started one and another, titled engineering or something similar.

Good luck,

Thanks everyone. I feel blessed to read your replies. Right now I have not yet distinguished my weakness in college except the aweful fact that I procrastinate too much, but it willl change now.

@ JDMz --I don't honestly believe that I am good or bad in Math or Science. In fact, I think no ones bad at them because it's all about the studying and the passion.

@ hippiehop --I've been having this interest to get into the government system or NASA. But now it depends how good you are to get pay $$$$

@ XtremeNuisance --yes, I noticed that engineer majors are busy like crazy. Sad but it'll pay off.

@ softshellcrab --to be honest, nothing is easy in this world. *sigh*

@ winterlovesong --anything that is engineer related is never easy. Wow so you're almost done! Keep going, you're alomst there! I still have a long long long way to go!

@ k1D3Ck --it is impossible to graduate in two days. Trust me, I know.

@ softshellcrab --I couldn't find the threads that k1D3Ck mentioned either. Wow Beng, that's a challenging major too. Good luck!

Thanks for sharing the love ^_*
