Agreed!
And I don't think that model is too skinny, either. She might be getting there, but that looks like a natural and healthy weight to be at. It doesn't look like she had to starve herself to get there (at least HOPEFULLY she didn't o_o ). However, I also wouldn't call her average. I'm willing to bet she is, technically, according to her BMI, underweight. But I know how that goes because according to my BMI I'm underweight, but I'm definitely not unhealthy, I eat 3 meals a day and excercise and everything, and I'm NOT that thin. So being "underweight" doesn't always mean "too thin" either.
And I also agree about the standards of "skinny" in Korea. Seriously, all the models on the online stores I see, their thighs are so. freaking. THIN. I can't even imagine having thighs that small, I just wonder how much of their ribcage you can see under all those clothes...

Anyway, here's a pic of Halle Berry. She's got a great body... But she was blessed with a small frame and probably worked for that flat tummy. Such a deadly combination. O:
But I like her, her legs are nice, not stick-thin at all. It's attainable. XD;

I love how everyone's posting their own inspirations because not everyone gets inspired by the same pictures...
I mean I usually collect pictures of high fashion models to inspire me rather than the other ones here, because those other bodies are just unattainable to me:
1. They actually have boobs. Enough said T____T
2. Their hips are too small.
3. They're too short
I can't change any of the above things...and that's why only certain women's bodies actually help me...
Lol yeah that's all
I just think this thread is really awesome because we have such a great range to suit everyone's figures =)

However, my problem with this thread is that this thread is part of what I believe is wrong with our society. Instead of living within your own means and seek happiness with what has been provided in your life, people are bombarded with stories, advertisements, and movies of the perfect life with an endless pit of money, a perfect, handsome partner, and a slender and busty body.
I'm not saying it is wrong with having all of that, but clearly our society is being brainwashed about what a perfect life is. Part of the reason why I dislike this thread is that instead of advocating for every young, impressionable teenage girl in this forum to find happiness within one's self (whether it'd be being fitter and healthier or finding solace inside), we again have another medium that reminds us that we are not perfect, and we must not feel happy unless we are perfect because of our undesirable image (yes, I am somewhat putting words into mouths because that isn't exactly what most of you are saying definitively, but that was through interpretation).
I was never really frustrated by this thread. Like I said earlier: If it helps a person stop eating those 1,000 calories burgers and get off the couch to be proactive into getting fitter, then I applaud you. However, to call Miley Cyrus chubby is outrageous. I'm looking at that picture of her and think, "She looks very healthy!" And then I look at the other pictures that ejoong posted of these other girls, and they're stick thin. Is that what this thread is trying to promote?
This issue that I bring up relates to the horrific issues that currently plagues the modeling industry.
are you fat or something?
Tell me your wish, I'm your Genie, I'm your Girl
Right now it's Girls Generation, in the future it's Girls Generation, forever it's Girls Generation~<3

agreed, but yeah, some bodies here can be attainable if you work out and soompi is too young to really understand your rant in this thread.. haha 20+ would be more open minded though =)

haha you must be like 12, you talk like one. I doubt she's 'fat'
oh actually, by your standards, most ppl are obese lol
the korean celebs you posted are WAY too thin. I'm constantly told I'm really skinny, but even I don't look like that
it's ppl like you that make me scared for little kids, no wonder some of them are anorexic. I suspect you might become one too.b
