Four Years Of Math ..........should?

Freshmen year I took geometry
Sophomore year Adv. Alg2
Junior Year pre-calc
For my senior year I was going to take AP statistics, but I opted for stats I which is only half a semester. So technically I would only have 3.5 years.
I was thinking of switching my schedule for next year so I can have four years of math. But is it that important? Should I do that? I'm already taking AP Environmental, AP Lit, and AP Econ next year. I don't want my senior to be too hard.

As long as you understand the basics, it's not hard.
But if you went through calculus missing pieces here and there, I can see how it'd be hard for you. ):

Really? haha I thought that's why Stats was easier, you can just memorize calculator functions. Especially on the TI-89 Titanium, you just plug in what they ask you for! lol

When colleges say they recommend a number of years of something, GO FOR IT!
That can draw the line of acceptance and rejection.

That's not very smart. I don't know how it works for Stats in college, but in my Calc II and III classes, we weren't allowed to use calculators at all.
Anyway, the four year thing.... It all depends on you. That's the point where you have to think ahead to what you want your major to be. If you're going into something math and/or science related like engineering or Chemistry, I would say take Calculus. If you place out, you might not need to take calc in college. And as an engineering student, I (personally) don't need a statistics class. .... The only person I know that has to take a stat class is my friend who's a mathematics major.

lol I know~ I just mean that doing the problems were a lot quicker. Things like chi-squared and whatever were also REALLY EASY to do by hand, it's just when they give you big tables and you have to calculate all of them separately, it was nicer just to plug in to the matrix instead ^^; As long as you know the equation behind it, I don't think it's too much of a problem : D Most of the equations were practically the same anyway lol
I'm gonna have to take both Calc and Stats in college but I heard that *depending on which high school/college* you go to it might be beneficial to take the class you would get to skip anyway, partially because it's a review, and partially because it might be different from your high school class. My cousin skipped some calculus class because he scored well but he was kind of lost in college :T My calculus teacher mentioned this too. haha

Haha, I was taking both AP Calculus and AP Physics this year.
I think because of AP Physics, all the other classes seemed SO EASY! XD;

i literally just sat there and absorbed information or spaced out in psych, art history, civics, econ and still owned the ap tests
i did a little work in english and calc but man physics was hard to get down even if i tried
