i suck at physics you guys T_T
anyone willing to help, please feel free ~~

#1 A law enforcement officer in an intergalactic "police car" turns on a red flashing light and sees it generate a flash every 1.5 second. A person on the earth measures the time between flashes is 2.5seconds. How fast is the "police car" moving relative to the earth?

#2 Suppose that you are traveling on board a spacecraft that is moving with respect to the earth at a speed of 0.975c. You are breathing at a rate of 8.0 breaths per minute. As monitored on earth, what is your breathing rate?

#3 A UFO straks across the sky at a speed of .90c relative to the earth. A person on earth determines the length of the UFO to be 230 meters along the direction of its motion. What length does the person measure for the UFO when it lands?

#4 A carpenter on a space station has constructed a 30.0 degree ramp. A rocket moves past the space station with a relative speed of .730c in a direction parallel to side x (horizontal). What does ap erson aboard the rocket measure for the angle of the ramp?

#5 At what speed is the magnitude of the relativistic momentum of a particle t hree times the magnitude of the nonrelativistic momentum?

#6 Starting from rest, two skaters "push off" against each other on smooth level ice, where friction is neglible. One is a woman and one is a man. The woman moves away with a veloctiy of +2.5 m/s relative to the ice. The mass of the woman is 54 kg and the mass of the man is 88kg. Assuming that the speed of light is 3.0 m/s, so that the relativistic momentum must be used, find the recoil veloctiy of the man relative to the ice.

#7 How much work must be done on an electron to accelerate it from rest to a speed of 0.990c ?

#8. An electron is acceletated from rest through a potential difference of 2.40 * 10^7. (a) What is the relativistic kinetic energy (in joules) of the electron? (b.) What is the speed of the electron?

#9. Galaxy A is moving away from us with a speed of 0.75c relative to the earth. Galaxy B is moving away from us in the opposite direction with a reliative speed of 0.55 c. Assume that the earth and the galaxies are moving at constant velocities so they are inertial reference frames. How fast is galaxy A moving according to an observer in galaxy B?

i would really appreciate it if you guys helped T_T
i dont even know if this is the right section to post this... lol
