^ OMC. I love that show!
Maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly. But you might gain muscle weight.
There are some interesting diets out there that can help lose weight and still keep you healthy.

Drink water, eat healthy and don't overeat. You are not a rabbit. Exercise, exercise, exercise.

maybe start like 2 or 3 a week that would be better,
and your more likely to lose weight then rushing it.
exercise & keep your diet are words of gold haha.

haha, I agree with you: but perversely enough, exercise rarely works for me... dieting is what usually gives me results the fastest. That just goes to show that you have to come up with your own "plan" towards weightloss. Exercise CAN work, BUT only if you do it in the right ways and not just... running for 2hrs straight, y'know? Dieting is much more effective for me. Just cut back and portion control. Treats are okay on occasion too.

Would you want to live the rest of your life eating salads for dinner, and not getting any "junk food?"
Probably not.
And losing 15 pounds in a week isn't "unhealthy." Only morons think that way.
You just need to follow a diet of eating in moderation, and taking nice walks, or doing whatever you like to keep yourself active for about 20 minutes a day. No need for sit ups and push ups. Those things don't work for most people. Do what you want, ignore the idiots who are telling you what you're doing isn't good, etc. They should go shove their heads into a razor-sharp fan, which is currently moving at a rate of 100 spins/second.

try not to focus so much on speed. slow down a bit and work your way into a healthier lifestyle. start by eating 3 whole meals a day. have a hearty breakfast, and decently filling lunch and a carb-free dinner. salad with balsamic or a low fat dressing is great. the only 'fatty' dressing i would recommend is a teaspoon of olive or flaxseed oil and splash some vinaigrette for flavor if needed.
eat fruits as snacks, but just one serving. same with nuts [almonds are great].
exercise daily, even if it's just 15~30 minutes a day. and work your way into a longer routine.
ultimately, this is all a lifestyle. so do it so that you can feel fine just living that kind of lifestyle. this is just a general recommendation, and feel free to have a few cheat meals once in a while. bdays and special occasions are reasons enough to break out of your 'diet.' but don't break out everyday and give up on it. hehe
looking good and being fit require work. if it's that important to you, you'll find a way to do it.

i know a kid that tried the same thing as you did with eating only salads, and he ended up losing a lot of weight like you, but he gained it back really quickly.
some tips:
- drink a lot of water
- eat only when you feel hungry and not whenever you're bored, angry, stressed, etc.
- stop eating after a certain hour... for example, after 7pm don't eat anything.
- cut back on portions.. instead of having 2 cookies, take one.
- exercise.
- exercise.
- exercise.
cardio is good. even taking a walk for 30-40min. around your neighborhood helps.
i'm currently in the process of a diet too. good luck =)

two ways i've learned to do this..
1) you jog for a min, walk for a min, sprint for a min, repeat over and over until you feel like your legs are literally going to fall off.
2. spin interval training with an exercising bike. you change the tension every min.. so light tension and then speed, high tension standing up biking. this should last about 45 mins. it's really really tiring on your legs

you may be 15lbs. lighter now, but if it's long term goals you want, which i'm guessing you do (.....), you need to start eatting again, but healthy of course.
crash dieting, starving yourself- it only works for so long before you cave in again.

Bad idea.
The only weight you would lose from that is water weight and muscle mass.
It's best to eat 5-6 small meals a day rather than 3 large ones. You'll feel less hungry and have a higher metabolism throughout the day.
