What age is too old for braces? My sister will be wearing braces soon and she's already 21. Most of my friends got braces at around 12-15 years old and to me it's kinda uncomfortable having it at an older age. What do you think?

wear invisalign it's the serve the same purpose as braces, you can take it out. It's invisable..well sort of.
Most healthcare cover for this dental plan, but be prepare paying about 400$ with dental plan. but braces with dental plan is about 250...

Of course it's better to get them when you're younger because it hurts less and most people have it then. But I've seen people in their 30s have them.

I don't think it's never too late to get braces, I mean I've seen people wearing head gears in their 30s so I guess it's fine. Some people just get weaker teeth when they start to age, like I probably prefer to get them in pre-teen years (around 13-17)

I saw this old lady, she was probably around her 50's and she had braces.
I also saw this 30 year old with braces too.
It's never too late to have straight teeth I guess?

I don't think a person's too old to wear braces.
As long as braces serve it's purpose for making teeth straight.
I think it's just more expensive when you get it as an adult, because teeth is harder to straighten when you are older.

I know people who got braces in their late 20's (like 28 years old), so it's not too late. 21 is not too late at all.

You're never too old for braces. My aunt who's in her forties just got braces.
It's just better to get them when you're young because your teeth are still growing
(or something like that), and it'll hurt less.

There is no such thing. Everyone's teeth mature at different ages, different stages. Just because you are a certain age doesn't mean anything. It sucks but you can't be so self conscious about what it will look like. There are always the clear ones too. You need them if your dentist says so, it will only benefit you in the future.

there's no age limit to braces. the only thing is it's better to get them when you're in your early teens because it's easier for your teeth to adjust. when you're older, it takes longer and you have to wear braces longer.

No, my aunt, she's 40 something and she's still wearing braces. It doesn't really have the age limit.. until 60 or something.
I'm currently semi hiatus at the moment due to school.
*still pm me please, although it might take awhile to reply!
